I tought young mansfield from mvat would get a look as his not to bad, john walsh probaly a bit young,a year or two u21 should bring him on,I'd also be very surprised if Henry stayed on after last year's clean sweep now is the time but he'll probably wait till after the club because only generate a bit of a circus

Was also told from a very reliable source that Henry Shefflin will call it a day next Saturday after the Ballyhale game. don't think he will do it next weekend maybe after paddys day when they lift the Tommy Moore cup he might go out on a winning note.

Think myself he'll wait till Ballyhale are finished up with the club championship to announce anything. I think he'll go if Ballyhale win the AI, which would be some way to bow out.

I hope he will have the opportunity to go out on a winning note the shamrocks backroom team were very slow to make changes the last day in the backs when they did especially on the half back line it made a difference

Eoin larkin will be out for most of the league and it was reported that richie power also out through injury so it will weaken our fowards,I'd like to see something like,Murphy, pmurphy,Walsh,Kennedy, lyng,Joyce,Buckley,Lester, fogarty,Walter, hogan, pwalsh, john power,Kelly,jj farrell, It's going to be very intresting to see Wat kind of team is selected, either way I'd like to see Keith hogan, kevin kelly exposed to see how they fare out

I heard today that along with the ballyhale crew, the 5 retired players....Eoin Larkin (though ruled out for the league anyway) and also Richie and John power are absent so the forward line in particular should be interesting given that Richie hogan is the only player available that started the all-Ireland replay

Confirmed 13 of the 2014 All Ireland winning panel the weekend v Cork. Ballyhale players obviously missing and Larkin and the Powers out through injury. Of the 13 i presume they are counting the retirements

Correct we're missing 13 from last years panel for the weekend.
5 retirements Tommy Herity Hogan Taggy JJ
5 Ballyhale lads Colin Mick TJ Henry Joey
3 injured Larkin - groin surgery a few weeks ago apparently John Power - ? Richie Power - ?
Lester is available
So that leaves a very inexperienced team.
I would assume something like Murphy Murphy Joyce Jackie Lyng Buckley Kennedy Fogarty Lester P Walsh R Hogan K Hogan K Kelly Wally JJ Farrell
Not much experience on the bench. Mark Kelly Joe Brennan Geoff Brennan Tomas Keogh Willie Phelan

While I wouldn't be expecting a win saturday night I would expect us to remain competitive, our backs and midfield should be okay but our fowards could struggle with richie the only reconised foward on view but in saying all of that if you had, pwalsh, hogan, khogan, wally, kelly, farrell it might not be as bad as some people are thinking, chris bolder is flying it with carlow so he might get the nod unless his cup tied, alward is a loss now with fowards so scarce

Ger Aylward isn't in Australia anymore...is now home and I'm assuming he's back training ( atleast ) with the panel

It'd be great to have paul murphy full back,I think his the obvious replacement for jj,overall that team not to bad, would of liked kennedy in the corner with lyng on the wing
