With the retirements of JJ, Tommy, Brian Hogan, Taggy, David Herity & Possibly more, What way will the Kilkenny panel shape up for 2015?
Who do you want to see brought on to the panel and who do you see dropping off the panel?

Some one somewhere must have heard some rumors. With our five retirements there is room on the panel for 5 newcomers. Some one must know something. It is all part and parcel of the preseason fun to questimate who Cody will bring in.

Heard young Blanchfield of Bennetsbridge was asked into the pre-season panel based on his pace and directness in front of goal. Only a rumour though, I wouldn't believe it until I see it.

would Cody bring in a minor that quick i know JJ came in in 2001 but he was one a kind, he might bring him in for the walsh cup but i can't see young Blanchfield getting much game time. whats the story with Ger Alyward and Kevin Kelly should be making a go of it in 2015 also Micheal Rice to come back also, i hope Walter Walsh finds his 2012 form in 2015 but his young enough yet.

Well, they're coming back from Miami this week so I suppose they'll be straight into training then, and we'll soon enough know the make-up of the extended panel.
I have no information or opinion on new players, just wanted an excuse to post and say it's great to see the forum lads! (I'm Realt Dearg Sec on boards btw)

I heard from an impeccable source that he only knew of two called into the panel Keith Hogan & ? Staunton? Their back training on Tuesday night apparently.

good to see Kevin Kelly in he was an outstanding minor and one of the star's of the 2010 minor team has injuries held him back. he is around 22 or 23 now.

He was very impressive for WIT in the Fitzgibbon Cup last year and is a very good hurler from what Ive seen and is physically very strong. Malone is very talented but you may get the sense that his light physique and lack of previous Intercounty experience underage may tell. Tom Aylward hasnt been called up as far as I know which is very surprising |
