It was obvious dublin have alot of pre season done while teams like tipp and kk are catchibg up,anyway a tough away match against galway ahead of us,galway have a lot of injuries also but after winning one and losing one there in the same boat, will there be many changes?personally padraig walsh needs to go half back,I'd like to give brian kennedy a go corner back and john power into the fowards, need to find a midfield partner for lester or maybe they'll go with padraig midfield?how long is richie power gone for anyone know or will any of the other injured players be recovered?

Not sure on the injuries front. Will Kilkenny appeal any ban for Jonjo Farrell, I think they definitely should. I would like to see something like the following
Eoin Murphy Tomas Keogh Paul Murphy Jackie Tyrell Brian Kennedy Cillian Buckley Kieran Joyce Lester Ryan Padraig Walsh Walter Walsh Richie Hogan Matt Ruth Mark Kelly Jonjo Farrell John Power
This team isn't to much different from Sunday and it gives the lads a chance to redeem themselves, I would expect to see some hunger and fight in them. Padraig Walsh in midfield should give us more of a foothold from deeper and Richie at centre forward would give us a focal point. Hoping Jonjo will get off from a suspension and I would like to see Buckley at centre back and see how he goes. Brian Kennedy deserves another shot maybe would prefer the corner though.

You would worry about B kennedy he seemed to be targeted last sunday they were hitting the balls down that side,he puts a lot into hurling with Kilkenny as they all do he does not seem to have the power I hope I am wrong Mark Kelly seems to be the same.

Although his struggling for form I wouldn't give up on him yet like wise mark kelly both have the potential,I'd like to see keith hogan or kevin kelly getting game time,no need to panic yet but a win against galway is wanted and I expect a responce from the players as they'll know themselves they were outhurled in every position,I'd also expect john joes card to be recinded

Like some people I do fully believe that Kennedy is good enough for the future, he was very impressive in the league last year, Joe lyng won't be seen any time soon under Cody anyway I'd say after Sunday and I believe Kelly and Farrell are good enough but it depends on which forwards are around them, I wouldn't be a big fan of Ruth be tool his goals well on Sunday and Cody wouldn't be giving him that many chances unless he actually sees something in him

I reckon we can go up there and get a result. Galway seem to be missing as many regulars as we are, though our regulars are probably bigger losses.
We don't tend to get too much results in Galway, so hopefully we can pick up one. I think we'll go with the same side as the last day, minus Farrell, with Hogan (possibly?) to start. My worry for the game on Sunday is Barry Kelly might want to settle a score, or lay down the law excessively.
Anyway, best of luck to the lads.

No news from John Joe incident so doubt full at this stage I'd say,I'd like to see a small shuffle but I'd expect a response from the players,I'd like to see pwalsh back at five,John power will probaly start, how far away is richie or rice?

Big changes in the backs Shane Pendergast getting a run corner back M Walsh full back Willie Phelan centre field see Ger Alyward is back on the team sheet, a lot of people worried about the ref time will tell.

That forward line has a fairly decent look about it though you would have say, the full forward line are all capable of doing major damage if on form, hopefully wally goes well tomorrow aswell ( he had the flu in the lead up to the Dublin game I do believe ). Midfield could be a worry but who knows Willie Phelan could surprise us but I'd be astonished if that happened to be honest, hard to see very many subs getting a run especially in the forwards where we seem weak enough on the bench although Keith hogan and Ger Aylward surely would be capable of doing some kind of damage!!

The willie phelan experiment is worth a shot,I believe his being training in that position for the last year and doesn't have the pace required for full back I believe altho michael walsh isn't the fastest either but also worth a look as he was on the panel last year, tends to foul to much but hasn't let us down in the two league games last year, delighted to see shane pender getting a game, probably better on the half back line, overall I'm happy his trying things as this will be a tough bruising match,i think we were a little complacent against dublin and expect a responce,2 points today on the road be great, galway also missing some of there big name fowards
